West Oxfordshire Network - Steering Group
The West Oxfordshire Network (WON) is a partnership of sixteen local organisations that decides which projects can be approved. The partnership comes together on a quarterly basis in the form of a Steering Group. The organisations are as follows:

The local LEADER+ Programme is managed by a steering group. This consists of a representative from each of the partners in WON plus one person each.
- Some of the partners in WON have made funds available to help pay for projects. Most importantly though, the group is responsible for deciding or recommending how the £1,904,880 of EU and Government money available should be allocated to pay for local LEADER+ projects.
- West Oxfordshire District Council is responsible for the day-to-day running of the programme and for seeing that its rules are obeyed. It is the local contact point for anyone wanting to discuss the programme. The District Council overseas liaison with the Government Office for The South East.
- The WON Programme Team, is based at West Oxfordshire District Council and consists of a Programme Manager and Administrative Assistant. Please see the WON Programme Team section for more information.
- WON aims to support projects which improve the quality of life for people living and working in rural West Oxfordshire. A particular focus of the WON programme is to improve access to services.
WON is particularly interested in projects aimed at:
- Young People
- Women
- Older Population
- Farmers, farm workers and workers affected by rural restructuring
